Sing Along Counting Rhymes. The sing along counting rhymes is the best method to teach counting to a child between three to five years of age. The kids pay more attention to funny music and songs. Therefore, the songs or games related to numbers and counting help a lot to make the teaching easier. "One, two, three, four, five once I caught a fish Alive" is a very common and attractive song that every kid loves to hear and understand. Along with funny songs, the mother needs to use the fingers and toes to count with the music. The number song along with the body action makes a good impact on the child about the number system.
The child needs to understand that the last number is the symbol used to represent the number of objects. They also need to practice counting the objects from bottom to top or left to right to discover that order is irrelevant--regardless of how the items are counted, the number will remain constant.
The math and the real life everywhere require the useful skill of counting. The correct way to count something, especially, money is a very important factor of concern. It is always better to teach the children to count, before their schooling starts. To teach and make a little kid understand the method of counting is a difficult job. To make this difficult task easy, you can implement several funny methods of counting that a kid usually loves.
